Odette Maartens moved to Cape Town in 1996, where she studied and started her career in hospitality. She worked for various prestigious 5-star hotels focusing on Events and Wedding Planning.

In 2007 Odette decided to move onto real estate and joined DG Rentals. She took charge of the rental department, firstly focussing on High End Holiday Rentals and then started the long term rental division managing rental properties in sought-after areas like the Atlantic Seaboard and Southern Suburbs in Cape Town. Her experience in the hospitality sector equipped her with excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and a service driven approach. This contributed significantly to her success in real estate.

Odette has strong leadership and interpersonal skills, which helps her to manage the team and nurture relationships. She maintains a multifaceted life while valuing time for exercise, her family, and her career.
